Collins and Hall Collins and Hall was established in the mid-nineties by two young British designers with initial support from the Princes Youth Business Trust. They manufacture top-of-the-market christening gowns, and children's special-occasion wear, mainly in 100% silk & linen. They supply top end of the market boutiques and department stores, including, Fortnum and Masons and House of Fraser. Their outfits have been chosen for 'TV Christenings' on both Coronation Street, Eastenders (UK long running soaps) and Friends where the wardrobe people decked out an entire "shop" with Collins & Hall clothes for Rachel to go shopping in. They have also won a special award for customer service which was presented by Prince Charles at St James Palace. Joanne (Hall) and Matthew (Hall) were astonished and delighted to see that at the Catherine Zeta Jones-Michael Douglas wedding of the year, baby Dylan was wearing one of their designer outfits ~ a pastel blue all-silk sailor suit. Whilst we raced through our sales invoices over a couple of months looking for a Jones, or Douglas (we do ship to the USA alot) we understand the outfit was bought from a boutique in Wales by Catherine Zeta- Jones' mother. We do of course supply the same outfit - it is the Wessex in the Shires Rompers Collection. We're not allowed to reproduce the magazine cover or any other photographs on our site, but it was satisfying to see how well the Wessex sat next to the £xxx wedding dress (the mother of the bride's dress cost £6,000) by a Christian Lacroix.
